Shortcut: none
Toolbar: Site group (Site aspect)
Draw the site plot boundary as a polygon. Any simple shape works — trapezoid, kite, irregular survey — and the first edge you draw is treated as the road front.
Prerequisites
- An active level in Plans and the Site aspect selected in the toolbar.
Workflow
- Click Draw Plot in the toolbar.
- Click the two ends of the road-facing front edge first.
- Keep clicking around the boundary; corners snap to grid, walls, and the CAD reference just like wall drawing.
- Close the shape by clicking the first point again or pressing Enter (after at least three corners). Press Esc to cancel.
After saving:
- The boundary is survey truth. Width/depth resizing is only offered for plain rectangles; a surveyed shape keeps its corners.
- Road / neighbour edge roles are inferred from the front edge and can be reassigned per edge from the plot inspector.
- Setbacks derive per edge role and build the buildable envelope used by room placement snapping.
