Sheets and drawing sets
The Sheet workspace is Jodu's professional drawing-sheet layout composer. It allows you to assemble multi-sheet drawing sets containing architectural floor plans, structural layouts, elevations, cross-sections, and door/window schedules ready for municipal sanction or site execution.
What purpose templates are available?
When creating a new drawing set, you choose from three purpose templates:

Supported sheet sizes and scales
- Paper Sizes: A2 (default) and A3.
- Orientation: Landscape (recommended for architectural plans) or Portrait.
- Scales:
1:50(detail floor plans),1:100(standard architectural plans),1:200(site/plot layouts).
Step-by-step: How to assemble and export a drawing set
- Open Sheet from the workspace navigation bar.
- Choose your purpose template (Field construction, Authority submission, or Client review).
- In the left panel, click Add sheet to create individual pages (e.g. Sheet 01: Ground Floor Plan, Sheet 02: First Floor Plan & Elevations).
- Select a sheet to open it in the canvas:
- Configure Sheet title, Drawing no, Paper, and Orientation in the right Inspector panel.
- Click Add content to insert available views (such as Ground Floor Plan, North Elevation, Door & Window Schedule). Scale is set per placed view in the Content section.
- Drag and position view frames on the sheet. Scale bars and north arrows automatically align with the placed drawing.
- Check the Readiness section in the Inspector:
- Resolve any blocking errors (the header status pill shows "N blocking").
- Review warnings.
- Click Export PDF set to generate a single, multi-page vector PDF download.
Schedule tables use the Drawing Set's authored units, retain complete specifications, and repeat their headers on continuation pages. Opening type marks match the same-revision schedule and opening-associated BoQ references. You can also export a single draft schedule PDF or CSV directly from Schedules, without creating a Drawing Set.
Quick Plan Drawing export vs Composed Drawing Set
- Quick Plan Export (from Plans header): Exports only the active 2D floor plan directly to PDF, DXF, or DWG in seconds.
- Composed Drawing Set (from Sheet workspace): Assembles a complete, multi-page professional drawing set with title blocks, project metadata, scale bars, and municipal tables.
