Use your own AI
Besides Run expert in Jodu, you can let your own Claude account review a project. Its observations join the same Expert opinion list in Review, each tagged with who made it, and it uses no Jodu AI credits. Today only Claude on the web is supported.
How do I connect Claude?
- In Claude on the web, open Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector.

https://api.jodu.io/mcpas the URL and add it. - Sign in to Jodu when asked and approve the connection.
How do I run a review?
In a Claude chat, say: Review my project 'My House' in Jodu, using your project's name. Claude reads the project and its plan images, then saves the review. Return to the Review tab and its observations appear in the Expert opinion list, tagged Claude. Points already in the list are not repeated, and a point is removed when you change a room, wall or opening it refers to.
What can my assistant do?
Your assistant can read, reason, and review. It can also propose a sketch edit, send feedback, and ask Jodu to imagine a space. Image and video generation stay on Jodu AI. Your assistant does not draw the picture or make the clip.
How do I edit a sketch?
In Claude, say: Edit my sketch 'Sharma residence': add a bedroom on the left, using the sketch's name. Claude proposes one change. Open that sketch in Jodu and the suggestion is a version labelled From Claude: press Keep, or Not this one to leave the saved sketch as it is. You can also refine it in the Sketch AI sheet. Claude cannot save the sketch for you. The Jodu pill in the top bar shows when a proposal is waiting.
How do I send feedback?
In Jodu, press ⌘K and ask Jodu to send feedback. A card shows the subject and details. Send files it and shows the reference. Cancel files nothing.
From Claude, say: Send Jodu feedback that the resize handle jumps. Claude files that note for your signed-in account. You do not confirm it again in Jodu.
How do I imagine a space?
In a sketch, ask Jodu (⌘K) to imagine the selected rooms. A card shows the rooms, locality, style, and prompt. Create opens Imagine and generates the concept. Cancel creates nothing. The Imagine button opens the same card.
From Claude, say: Imagine my sketch 'Sharma residence' living room in Kerala style. Claude only stores the request. Open the sketch and the card is labelled From Claude. Create or Cancel clears the request. The pictures are drawn in Jodu, so Claude cannot create the concept itself.
How do I let my assistant write the Imagine brief?
When an assistant is connected, Imagine offers Brief by. Choose My assistant and generate. The concept waits. In your assistant, ask it to write the Imagine brief for that sketch. Use Jodu AI instead writes the brief in Jodu. Continue without a brief goes on with the locality, style, and prompt only.
How do I disconnect?
Open Account > Connected assistants and click Disconnect. The assistant loses access immediately.
